Fabulous shot ... the colour of the sky is gorgeous. The houses look a little blurry which should be fixable by sharpening in Photoshop. What's that dotted line going across the sky?

Laurent, thanks! I think it's a classic shot for a reason, when the pole star is incoporated it often gives a nice effect. The straight light point was a plane, I think satellites show up as solid lines (ie, nothing flashes on them)
Aaron, thanks. I've not really had a look at sharpening on photoshop but I'll have a look. In future, I'll have to try and take more care to focus things properly. I like the colour of the sky too, it's the reason I take these shots as stacked 30second exposures.
